First, I started with the deep conditioner in this line. I was so amazed by how heavy and effective it was that I decided to try to layer every item in my hair, as I run out of my other products.This shampoo is lighter than I was expecting but that's fine. I wash twice (scalp then hair) and it's just as effective as my other shampoo.I'm not sure that its moisturizing effects linger because I layer on a lot of products. But I like using multiple players in the same line. It makes sense that they'd team up to have a greater impact.The scent is heavy - a hint of honey followed by an near-cologne scent. But I got used to it and don't smell it anymore.
