Omg, I’ve only written a review for about five products in all my years of using Amazon. This is my first time using 'Aunt Jackie's Flaxseed Recipes Fix My Hair, Intensive Repair Conditioning Masque,' but I’m already about to buy a back-up just in case it's no longer sold in the future. Cream is thick yet smooth, feels good in hands, applies easily (I use a lot on my short hair), kept in from beginning to end of shower (20 min) with no shower cap, fingers easily glided through hair (4c when natural, now relaxed) during rinse (which is a HUGE PLUS b/c of how rare it is to find a product that can accomplish this), and hair had NO RUBBERY FEEL during or after use. When ready to style 15 minutes later HAIR WAS STILL SUPER SOFT, maybe the softest I’ve ever experienced (?). After, I used ‘Aunt Jackie’s Not on My Watch, Instant Detangling Therapy’ (which I’ve used for about five years on my natural hair), and it worked with exact same quality on my relaxed hair. The value exceeds the price. Excellent creation, thanks Aunt Jackie.Only semi-down side: The smell immediately reminded me of relaxer/perm treatment, which I don't like. After wash, the scent was clean and strong enough to compliment overall body fragrance. I AM GLAD this product was innovative and DID NOT HAVE the typical coco butter/coconut/shea butter scent which runs all too rampant in black hair products. Ideally, it would be REALLY NICE (and maybe a first) if it had a fresh fruity fragrance: peach, apple, lemon, strawberry, grapes, etc., or like a body wash. I still give this product 5 stars because of the effect on my hair, and the smell was still clean.
